I bought these a long time ago thinking i would change the trans filter and fluid. Turns out I didn't and found them in the garage the other day. Can you tell me if these are the correct filters. My liberty is a 2005 with the automatic transmission.

Those are the wrong filters, those are for a 45RFE trans and you have a 42RLE trans.Your trans only has 1 filter also. Many places do not list the KJ as ever having the 42RLE trans also, just be warned.

Since you don't have a 45RFE in your KJ you should pass them on to someone like me who does have that tranny. 8)
I'll pay shipping. :seuss:

Its for a gas KJ.
It will only fit 2002 and early 2003 KJ's with the 45RFE transmission.
All other KJs have the 42rle tranny.
