So I have a 2007 Liberty that I put the Mopar trailer wiring and hitch on this last weekend.

In the instructions for the wiring they have you remove the upper seatbelt bolt so that you can remove the plastic panel on that wall.

I got the bolt loose but then turning the bolt it feels like the bolt and something else (nut?) are turning without any resistance
I can't tighten the bolt either it just spins.

Is the Upper right seatbelt bolt screw into a welded point on the frame or is it just a nut held there by a spring clip?

have others had this problem?

Note: for anyone else doing this check if your seatbelt bolt is a Torx 47 and not a T45 as is listed in the instructions
