The heat is not working in the 05 libby I have changed the thermostat and the antifreeze. I heard somewhere that the heater core could be clogged causing the problem but the hoses to the core are both warm. please help i appreciate the help in advance thx Josh |

You most likely have air still in the system.Start the engine with the coolant tank cap off,remove the bleed plug on the upper radiator hose(the alloy part on the engine),takes a 8mm allen socket and maybe in there tight,and let all the air out.Screw it in when only coolant flows out,and open some to let any remaining air out till the t-stat opens,then refill the coolant tank to the proper level. Be very careful as the coolant will get very hot and will cause burns. |

It's summer. Don't worrie about it untill Fall. HaHa Troy is correct. I had this problem a few years ago and did the exact thing and the heat came back |
