I'm trying to chase up a wrench to Remove/Replace the oil filter on my KJ.
What I want is an end cap wrench. Does anyone know the actual specs. of the filter?
I'm thinking that it requires a 3" end cap wrench. Is this right?
Oh, and where can I get one that ships to Australia?

the part no. of the filter is 4781452BB.

I am sure NAPA can get you one and ship it to you. Or try ebay they always have a nice odds and ends tool selection. I mean they have the whole Mopar tool kits for these jeeps on there sometimes.

I'll check mine tonight for specs. I just bought one a couple months ago at Napa.

Just bought one to do my oil change. The filter was on tight and I needed something to get around it.
None of my other straps or wrenches had enough room to get a good grip.
I found one at O'Reilly Auto Parts Store, the manufacture is FloTool (item #3210010602) and it is a size 2.
Worked OK once you aligned it to fit the flutes on the oil filter.

I have no trouble using a small diameter classic metal "band" or "strap" filter wrench when removing the filter from the top. However, since my free oil change days ended 36,000 miles after purchase and the dealer gorilla's aren't putting the filter on ( I am ) I only have to reach down and take it off by hand....
