I know some people like the look of the brushgaurds well I know most don't allow tow hooks to be added. I got the link from someone on here they posted it on another thread and I didn't want to hijack it.

it looks like a nice one, but the "soon" listed for the 2005 model turned into a "never" I think.

There are a lot of differing opinions on if the brush guard will really do anything to guard against brush, or anything else. The biggest argument is that it will keep the brush off your grill.....but it will still smack down on the sides of the jeep and scratch it there anyway.

Also, some pretty good reasoning that says if you get into a collision, it can cause MORE damage, because now the brush guard will bend the frame and push it into the lights/grill/etc. Hard to compare what gets damaged with the guard to what would have been damaged without the guard, since no two accidents are the same. It's just something to think about. I think it's nice to get the brush guard for asthetics and light-mounting purposes only. But then again, why spend $300+ on a grill guard when you can spend $700 on an arb?

I this is a great idea for the average wheeler. They get hooks and most folks are concerned with their paint. I would probably jump on this because I really don't need the added protection of an ARB (or Rock Lizard for that matter). The only reason I want the RL is so I can have a place to put a winch. This product would be easier to resell with the vehicle (lifts, mud terrains, offroad bumpers lower value). Grill gaurds don't lower value because to most people they are for looks.
