Well, as most of you know I got the P0500 code, speedo no worky.
Ebrake, abs, and CEL lights are on.
Went to auto zone, they tested it and it told me what I already knew.
But it also said something about "Speed sensor A"
So, is that just some generic thing or is that a specific sensor?
Guy at AZ didn't know, hoping one of you guys would know.

There's 5 different ones, I'm trying to find out which one it is.
I got a feeling its not the sensor its self but broken/frayed wiring.
I was going over some train tracks and the while I was going over it the speedo worked for a split second then stopped.
I'm thinking the wires touched and worked in that time then shook loose again.

You have one speed sensor in your KJ(even with ABS for '02-'05 only) that operates your speedo and that is the one on the rear diff.2 of the others are the sensors in the front hub bearings for ABS use only and the other 2 measure input shaft and output shaft speeds(RPM's) of the trans and have nothing to do with the speedo.

Thanks Troy, that's the answer I was looking for.
How hard is it to replace the sensor wiring? I got a feeling the wiring with broken frayed and need to replace the whole harness.
Already tried shoving the wires in but it didn't work.

They have a pigtail available at the dealership that takes 5 mins to install, simply cut the old connector off and splice in the new one and plug in.
