When I check my liberty with a OBD2 code reader I get a 0299 and 0401 . Also some times when I hit the gas pedal I take off in hurry and other times it just stalls and won't accelerate. Has anyone had these errors. Should I take it in to a jeep dealership mechanic? Should I reattach the ccv and the egr before I do if I do? Does anyone have experience solving a 0299 error?

Sounds like you got yourself a CRD; I am sure this will be moved in a bit.

You CAC hose is probably split (easy to replace) and your EGR valve is gone (not hard but time consuming). There is a write up on the EGR proceedure in CRD Tech.
