how much is 800 dollars worth of time to you?

I haven't had to do one on a KJ but 800 bucks is 800 bucks that would stay in my pocket.

VW quoted my friend 1600 bucks + the part on R&R of the TB and throttle control module on his VW bug

Took me 15 minutes?

Pretty sure it's detailed, and/or self explanatory once you start to do it, go ahead and get fresh hoat coolant, hoses if they haven't been replaced in awhile, radiator cap if your year model has a radiator cap

grab the drain pan, a booger picker, pair of large channel locks, star bits and sockets and get to it

Oh, I def know that 800 is alot of money for a radiator, I'll either find some where cheaper or do it my self when work gives me a chance. That dearlership cab go kick rocks as far as I'm concerned.

800 for the part and replacement.. I got it all taken care off and will be fixing it this week! BTW JeepinJar, how far are you from Charlotte/Myrtle Beach/Charleston SC? Live in Charlotte now and will be making my way to myrtle or Charleston sometime soon.
