Where am I leaking?!

Found this a few months back cleaned if off to see if I could find out where the oil was coming from....no luck.
What I do know....oil level has remained at a pretty constant level ( do all the changes myself)
The oily residue left was located behind the alternator angling down toward the power steering pump.
No drips to speak of on the ground
Check the fluid in the power steering pump reservoir it is and the max cold line.

Any help you can offer is much appreciated :mrgreen:

probably the rear main seal in the blinker fluid reservoir bearing housing

some power steering fluid and oil, what is that, about 45,000 worth of collection? add some trapped road grime from rainy days

i'd cook brats on that without aluminum foil to be honest

doesn't look like valve covers though

Poss. headgasket / front timing chain cover, seep ?? John I would clean off with brake clean or eng. degreser and check every once in a while prob. not a big deal !!

Hey Scott if you make it to the Badlands for Halloween maybe you could take a look at it in person? Next step is to clean it off with some brake cleaner.

And thanks for the advice Jeepin....i will check the blinker fluid, my have a leak :dizzy:

I got a few extra rifle kits with brass brushes if you want to bring it by, I'll drink your beer while you clean

thanks for the invite. The rifle kit brushes are a great idea, never thought of that. I have a kit laying around somewhere.
