It looks a little TALL to me. Is this just a mall crawler or is it going to be used off road?---- RCH

So on my ROF, the forums I visit for my TJ, this guy who I am not fond of, because if its not a Wrangler then its nothing to him, wanted to post that above. I know it doesn't seem bad at all, I just thought it was funny cause he has never said anything good about any vehicle other than his Wrangler, or buggy wranglers.

So my response,

Quote:
Well RCH, the way that the liberty's were designed inhibits it being any lower than 9.5'' when you do a solid axle swap. The lowest anyone has been able to get it was 9'' and that was on full widths with coils. The problem lies within the steering setup and trackbar. The Liberty was not designed for a SAS so it makes it hard to keep it low.

The jeep sits probably around 11'' to 12''. We are going to bring it down to 10''. Also it looks taller cause I trimmed both the flares and metal fenders out themselves for more clearance, back when it still had IFS and we were running 33's.

IT by no means is a Mall Crawler. I setup the liberty to be a dual purpose vehicle. It well be able to crawler and keep up with my TJ on the trail's and as well be safe as a DD on the road.

Should of told him
"yes its going to be a mall crawler"
but I wanted it high enough so I could spot it easily in the middle of all those red Wranglers sitting out there.

You know how some guys do poser pic where they climb on wheel on top of other vehicles wheel.... You need to climb the Libby up on top of a Wrangler wheel....post the pic and tell him it was built to run over wranglers.
