So I have noticed many people talking about mufflers. "This ones too loud, I should have went with this.." "I want a louder muffler" etc. I too have always wanted to add a muffler but it was way down on my mod chart. Now its climbing back to the top as I knock things off.

I think this would be a great spot for us to compile some videos and or sound clips of different exhausts on our KJ's.

If you have anything post it up include the following:

Muffler Brand:
Model:
KJ year:

Also any mods you had to do to make it fit.

2006 KJ renegade

I have had a Flowmaster super 44 and a dynomax cat back with an ultraflow muffler. I wish I could combine the 2 and have the sound of the flowmaster and the performance of the dynomax. Im starting to think I may go back to a stainless steel flowmaster 44 if this one rots like the normal flowmaster. If it doesnt rot Ill stick with it until I have to have the sound back.

03 kj - super 44

no complaints other than the angle that my 44 got welded in at will probably end up getting beat down but it hasn't happened yet, when it does i'm just replacing everything from the block out

i don't personally think it's overly loud or droney, none of my passengers have ever said anything about it and many of them have ridden in it for 8+ hrs at a time

but me personally, i can't hear worth mentioning so unless my foots in it with the windows down I don't hear it anyway

super 44 - kicks booty, loud as hell, and everyone hates it, SO GET IT!
Neighbors can hear me coming and going and the g/f can hear me ~1 mile away. So get it.

saw that, yours sounds good the 44 seems a little bit too much i wonder if there is a happy medium?

Do you happen do have a drive by video of your jeep? I want to hear how it sounds as if you were walking on the sidewalk and it passed you, speed dosent matter, just want to hear it moving.
