Okay so tonight I thought... trial run to see how long it would take to fix a flat.
Well not a great idea.
first of all... the hilift jack part messed up my line-x on the RL rails.
second of all... I am tired!

So what's an easy way to not screw up my line-x on the rails but still jack from them?

Thanks in advance!

No,why it's not a good idea to linex them, they will get messed up if you wheel it.

ARB bumpers have a hi lift jack point.... or you can get those hi lift wheel hook deals and lower the KJ onto a jack stand. I use the hooks on my RL bumper... not sure it that would work on those aluminum jobs though.

Check with Dave or Yoshi at http://www.trasharoo.com
they are selling a Hi Lift adaptor that Overland XT makes
its 59.99 but a slick piece works on rock rails
have to go to "click on order today, scroll to bottom of that page to be taken to the webstore
it's a slick piece though
Now it will still scratch them since the Line X is a bad idea as has been said before but this will help

tell them I sent ya!

Hammertone paint, looks good, last a long time, and best of all easy to touch up
Rockrails are going to get scratched and gouged so no use wasting money Line X ing them or powder coating

man that really sucks about them getting scratched up that easily...
I feel like an idiot, but considering I got the rear and rails shot for only $150 it wasn't that bad.
Also, I have found that using plasticote in a can makes a pretty good match for the coating when it it gone.
