| Post subject: | Power Steering whine |
Tonight I finished replacing the rack and pinion, power steering pump, and high pressure hose. I knew there would be air in the system at first, and followed instructions to bleed it by turning the wheel lock to lock, running the engine for a minute and then letting it sit for 10 minutes, repeating until I stopped seeing air bubbles (about 5 times). In spite of this, I am still getting whining noises from the pump when turning and/or accelerating. Any suggestions? |
