Ok we have seen the 02-04 trim bumpers, what about any 05's?

The red is an idea but I am very squemish about trying to cut up a piece so big, so has anyone else done something like this?

Thanks

First thing to cut off is that chrome and black thing in the middle! :-)r

Seriously, make sure you look at how and where it is connected before trimming. If you cut too much, then you will have a saggy cover.

Ya the Glass Raider plate will disappear unfortunatly here in a couple of weeks when I put my NV plates on.

I have tow hooks which should be here this week to go on next weekend, I think that I will start with the red cut first to see how it goes and may(big MAY) go for the green, but that will take on a lot of extra stuff.

So no one else with an 05 has done any bumper trimming??

Also what is the best tool to use to cut it to get the smoothest, straightest cut?

Thanks for all the input.

Use the finest blade you can, and have your line clearly marked. You could try and file down some of the rough pieces, but putting door edge trim around the cuts really smooths things out nicely.
