4 inches of lift is easy, many of us are at that now,
rebuilt CVs from NAPA are 55-60 bucks built using stock parts so just as good as new in my book
so looks like I can buy 35-40 of them for the price of those.
And lets also see I have had to replace one in 150,000 miles
Agree its great but hardly worth it when a lot of people complain about spending 7-800 on a good lift
Just saying............
now looking at the flip side
JBA steel front diff with a 6 inch lift those CVs, 33's and well then you'd have over half enough for a full fledged SFA
6 inch lift....5317.88
Steel diff with 4.88 gears and ARB locker 2988.85
above CVs 1995.00
new tires and wheels 1750.
regear rear diff and ARB 2000. guesstimate
Total 14,050.73 well now I know where my tax return is going to this year

LOL Trust me Im working on a 5-6" lift and it will be no where near the prices asked for lifts now. I can do my own welding, gearing, plasma cutting, etc. Ive already contacted a few axle guys who have helped in the past who might be interested in making a housing for the front.
I am the king of cheap. I did the first XJ dana 44, arb super 30 lunchbox locker that wheeled Outer limits, axle alley, sledgehammer and a bunch of others for a total cost of 3900.00 including the jeep!
It would be much cheaper to go SAS and do the work myself but Im really interested in seeing the limits of what the IFS can do......IF the lady of my life agrees (which she usually does, she likes driving the extreme trails)
