only 1995.00 per set with lifetime warranty for high travel CV half shafts. I have contacted them to see if they can hook us up! twice the attack angle of the stock shafts...... :pepper:

'only' $1995 a set - yeah right

so I can break at least 10 standard sets - before the dollars are even?????

and twice the angle only helps if you can do fix the gears - if you're limited to 4:10's on the aluminum diff housing - it makes no difference.

I believe a stock is around 390.00 for one side and 440.00 for the other so 830.00 per set so 2 or even 3 times the amount for never having to worry about shafts again is worth the price, performance never comes cheap

with these you can run a 4"+ inch lift without worry. this means longer travel coil over and more suspension travel, which means much better off road performance.

4 inches of lift is easy, many of us are at that now,
rebuilt CVs from NAPA are 55-60 bucks built using stock parts so just as good as new in my book
so looks like I can buy 35-40 of them for the price of those.
And lets also see I have had to replace one in 150,000 miles

Agree its great but hardly worth it when a lot of people complain about spending 7-800 on a good lift

Just saying............

now looking at the flip side
JBA steel front diff with a 6 inch lift those CVs, 33's and well then you'd have over half enough for a full fledged SFA
6 inch lift....5317.88
Steel diff with 4.88 gears and ARB locker 2988.85
above CVs 1995.00
new tires and wheels 1750.
regear rear diff and ARB 2000. guesstimate
Total 14,050.73 well now I know where my tax return is going to this year

LOL Trust me Im working on a 5-6" lift and it will be no where near the prices asked for lifts now. I can do my own welding, gearing, plasma cutting, etc. Ive already contacted a few axle guys who have helped in the past who might be interested in making a housing for the front.

I am the king of cheap. I did the first XJ dana 44, arb super 30 lunchbox locker that wheeled Outer limits, axle alley, sledgehammer and a bunch of others for a total cost of 3900.00 including the jeep!

It would be much cheaper to go SAS and do the work myself but Im really interested in seeing the limits of what the IFS can do......IF the lady of my life agrees (which she usually does, she likes driving the extreme trails)

Well I take it you are not a serious off roader. If I where to do a SFA swap. I would replace the shafts in the 44 or 30 with new Yukon or Discovery CM shafts and CTM U joints, That axle package is 800.00 and the joints another 560.00 (280.00 ea)
so we are nearly 1400.00 anyway.

He was referring to this. (I guess :D)

Back on the subject: Ok, so they are 2k. But the JBA cut ones are also like $500 a piece.

If you did get these too work you would also have to figure out higher angle ubj, lbj and tie rods.

Bj.s are an easy fix high steer on the tie rods is possible also. Where there is a will there is a way.....If Yota boys can do it so can we. Learn from others mistakes and progress

They are rated for 900HP. same units that the XRRA buggies run...hey should "feel" fine... When growing up we used to take the Porsche 930CV and radius the output side to get additional attack angle. Probably the same end result as hacking 3/8" off of the width
