My brother accidentally broke how my fog light is aimed... renny style fogs. How can I fix it? I have tried the best glue at lowes. Maybe epoxy? Thanks for the help... I need my lights and yes I know I have a lot of them but some day when I can have a front bumper made there will be less... |

I broke one of mine today myself. The passenger side one. I have previously broken the driver's side. I would like to know if there is a better light to replace the standards. And for what it is worth, my Rene is an 06. Thanks. |

If so, (and it is not a thermoset non-melting plastic!), then I would suggest melting the pieces together with a small soldering iron. Dont let the iron get too hot, melt the two pieces together....you can also melt some metal bits in at the same time...I often use small sewing needle cut to size. You can then melt more plastic over the join for extra strenght....try to cut off a piece of unused plastic of the same type to melt over the joined pieces. The Epoxy and Superglue adgesives seldom glue plastic well. |

Some of the better auto parts stores are carrying epoxies designed to work with the plastics. You might try an autobody supply store for best results. |
