Just curious to see if there are any gas tank mods (more fuel capacity) out there yet? - Aftermarket larger gas tanks? - Expansion tanks? |

What's an expansion tank? (My gas skid has a few little dents and bends in it. I think it holds a smidgen less now) |

I seem to remember what Clint mentioned. Some Aussie company (can't remember the name) developed a larger tank. I believe it was about 120 L capacity. Much larger than any of the stock tanks, and you'll loose departure angle because the only place to put the extra space is hanging down lower. I don't remember if it was a one off or was put into production, but I seem to remember hearing you could order it. Freighting that thing from OZ would cost you a ton. Maybe try searching over at JU (haha.... I know) if you can't find anything more here. Cheaper solution would be some jerry cans strapped onto the rear. |

Wow, the mazda is pretty wrecked as opposed to the jeep. The gas tank does hang down pretty much further than stock but not as bad as i thought it would be. Wonder what they want for it plus shipping ? I would'nt mind having 60+ % more capacity. |

Fouros, I see the liberty is named a Cherokee in Austrailia... If it's $ 1200.00 AUD, what's that here in the states equal to ? I can't even imagine what shipping would be... Ouch !!! |
