Went out to get the paper this morning, noticed the rear window, drivers side down about 3 inches. I know it was up last night when I locked it, so went and got the key and sure enough, regulator is broken. I had it replaced about 3 years ago, same window and don't think I've used that window more than maybe 25-30 times in the past 3 years. Took it to my dealership in town this morning and they order a fix part for it and will fix it tomorrow they say. Parts mgr. said Chrysler has a TSB on the regulators and are in the process of redesigning but at this time, do not have them ready to send out, so I'm stuck with paying for the fix. Bad thing is, I'm leaving this week, friday 21st to attend step son's wedding in South Shore Lake Tahoe, which is why I need it fixed no matter who pays for it. Weather in Tahoe is lot's of snow, cold in the high teens at night. Got a couple of other cars but need the 4x4 for this trip. Screwed again.

Call Jeep and let them know about it. I only had to pay $50 co-pay that way.

That parts manager doesnt know what he is talking about, there are plenty of parts available. I saw about 10 replaced at the dealer I am working at this week.

Took it to dealer this morning and left it for repair. Service rep. called me a couple hours later and with "good" news. Fixed it with a kit and Chrysler/Jeep picked up the cost of repair. so no charge to me. This dealership has been real good to me since I bought my Lib. new from them in Dec. 05.
