Ok guys,
Im just trying to be prepared for my cross country drive again. Recently got lifted with OME springs Blistein shocks. As much as I would enjoy going out in the -5 degree temps with snow and see if I change change a tire using the factory emergency jack, I was wondering if any of you guys knew if it will still be long enough to jack the jeep up and change a tire incase I get a flat along my drive. If not what can I carry along with me thats small enough to slide under a seat like that and still be a useful jack?
Thanks
Sam

A couple of chunks of 2x8, stacked will give you a 3" boost.

Got a floor jack and a few 4x4s right now for emergencies. Hi-Lift is "high" on my list as it will give me some light winching capabilities with the ability to change my rubber out. :)

Bottle Jack from a TJ works great. But having something solid(block of wood) as a base is a must especially when on the trails.

Something to think about
first what size tires do you have
most go with 245-75-16s so they are lets say about 31 inches tall, stock are 29
so you have raised the area that you use your jack one inch, thats all so yes you may need a couple of 2 X 8s but that about it, one to block with one for the jack

2x8 or 2x10 pressure treated under the jack, and a 4x4 ~ 8" long works good

since I don't have a factory jack I carry 2 jackstands + a floor jack so the floor jack has wheels, i drilled holes in the 2x10 so the wheels of the jack would drop down in them to prevent it from rolling on the board - works great
