It's pretty clear that I'm gonna have to pound the pinch weld to get these new tires to not rub. The only issue is it's winter now and I would assume i'd need to paint the area after I beat on it with a BFH. Any suggestions for treating/painting in the cold? -Craig |

well since you should have a heat gun to heat up the plastic to bend it, then after you beat the area over heat the metal some and spray away with a can of paint that has been inside |

That was my first thought. I just didn't know how long I'd have to keep the area warm afterwards (I hope not hours). Any recommendations on what paint to use? Sorry, not a paint guy by any means. -Craig |

If the metal is warm ( not hot to the touch) it will dry fairly fast, you could take the heat gun at a distance and just blow hot air over it for a little while, won't take long. Or just talk to your buddy about the upcoming Super Bowl, be enough hot air then to keep the whole KJ warm ![]() I seem to always have a can of undercoating around and use that |
