I guess I can't do a full lock with the steering wheel, but man it rubs badly, and I have not even installed my 245/75's yet...
Will spacers help regain my full lock ability?

how many miles have you put on it? I still rub at FULL LOCK. but when do you ever turn in full lock?

After lifting mine, the stock backspaced wheels with 235/70/16 BFG's rubbed at full lock only going to the right.

I have since replaced the stock wheels with 16" x 8" with 4" back space and have no rubbing anywhere so I would imagine a set of spacers would eliminate the rub at full lock as they will push you out 1.25". You may or may not have to pound the pinch weld.

For almost the same price as spacers you can get soft 8's.

This weekend I am installing 245/75/16 Wrangler MTR's (finally here after 45 days on order) on my 8" wheels with 4" backspacing and fully anticipate some serious trimming to keep from rubbing. Let you know more on the outcome once we are done.

I have to make a lotta tight turns.
I really like my wheels, and eventually, after my wedding, I will get some moabs.
So for now it is worth it to get the spacers... I know what people say about spacers, but if I can get them for free, then why not right?

Free is still the best price to pay for something! Lotsa people running spacers. Have a good one.

Full lock steering is overrated..... I haven't fully locked the steering since 2007.

Not only hard on tires but power steering pumps as well
never see a need to cut that sharp all of the time

I run 1.25 spider Trax with 245-75-16 Goodyear M/T R's and have minimal rubbing
on the fog lamp area and only on the plastic covering the pinch welds.
(No, I have not flattened the pinch weld yet! Doesn't rub enough to bother me!
But I also don't crank the wheels to full lock. To hard on the power steering pump.)
