Changed the rear U-joints today and greased the slip yoke splines real good (maybe a little too good). Put the driveshaft back in and even used the right type of CV clamp pliers to tighten the clamp back up on the rubber boot that covers the slip yoke but now the boot will slide back and fortheven though the clamp is tight. I did get some grease on the outside of the front yoke shaft when putting it back in and wiped it off with some paper towels.

Is this something I need to worry about getting clean so the boot will stick to it when clamped down or will it work itself out and lock back down on it's own ??
