I have today off, so I thought I'd load the KJ up with the trail basics and head out to Mojave for some light exploring.

Um...no. I have oil smoke coming from what seems like the drivers side valve cover. I've never had this before.

The last time I drove the Jeep was about a month ago back and forth to storage about a mile away. Before then I had it in Mojave on the day after Christmas and all was fine. I am very worried about this new problem.

I don't know if any of you LOST members out there have had this happen suddenly but if you have feel free to chime in on what the actual issue was. Otherwise this is just a post so you can feel my sorrow.

...sorry, I have not had any experience with that...yet. LOL. Keep us posted, I am curious what the repairs will be.

Took it to the shop for diagnosis....

Needs new valve cover gaskets. Not too bad, I think I can do those myself.
