I had a hard time getting on here. This is the message I got:

General Error

Too many connections [1040]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

Is it just my computer, but this past weekend, and this morning, I've been intermittantly getting the below error dialog box of "General Error: SQL ERROR [mysqli] Too many connections [1040] A sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists." when trying to connect to LOST.

Anyone else run into this?

It happened to me at first a few times last night, but if I used the back button on my browser and then tried it again it would work. This trick however quit working after a while and I wasn't able to navigate the site at all.

Happened to me all weekend and a few times this morning. On three different computers as well.

I was also having a problem where I would try to respnd to something, type a long answer, hit submit and it would erase everything I just typed and not post it. :?

All: this is a load issue with the provider. the fact that you are getting an SQL error means that the website is reachable and the database that it uses for storage is not. We're working with the hosting provider to determine root cause.

Thanks
Dan

believe me...if someone WASN'T trying to hack the server, it would be a strange day indeed. It happens (literally) every day. The trick is to get the provider put appropriate controls in place without asking you for more money. :)
