I have less than 50k miles and one or both of my front wheel bearings is starting to go out. Anyway, I have an appointment for a tranny flush on friday, I'm going to have the dealership confirm the bearings are worn when they put it on the lift. My question is, who makes the OE bearings? And, has anyone else had a failure this soon in it's life. My jeep has never seen mud/ water crossings. I'm hoping that the wheel bearings will be covered by warranty, and hopefully they will let me pay for an upgrade to SKF or Timken hubs. |

Yep, best to get it checked out when you're scheduled for the trans. flush to make sure that it not something else. Does seem very pre-mature for normal wear on wheel bearings. |
