Post subject:  ABS and E-brake light always on

My ABS light has been on since about the begining of December and it first came on when braking on some snow, but after that it only came on a few other times while braking on dry pavement, and I could feel the ABS kick in too. But since about the begining of january i has stayed on constantly and im braking fine. But now it just stays on constantly all the time. How do I make it turn off?

Now recently my E-brake light has been coming on and my brake is clearly not on. Sometimes it will come on when im driving down the road, and other times it will turn on when my jeep gets started up. I would lift the E-brake and even put it back down and the light still wouldnt turn off. Im not really blaming my ABS light on the E-brake but could there be some type of wire malfunction between the 2?

Im not an electrical person what so ever so I have no idea what to do.

Thanks!

Same thing happend to me recently after a day of snow bashing. My reader said it was a comm error and I cleared the codes and it's been fine... but I had a CEL as well when it happened.

I have gotten this too. It seems like my parking brake light comes on for no reason and it is sometimes accompanied by the ABS light. I can usually get the brake indicator to turn off by turning off the jeep and pulling the key out for a few seconds then starting it up again. :|

I had/have similar issue and it ended up being the "speed sensor" (?) that goes to rear . It seems that the brake cable rubs on it and causes an issue. I had it fixed (i think i remember they spliced a new one in)at dealer a couple of years ago. recently it seems to be starting to happen again
