Its actually my friends 06 liberty. but he doesnt have any heat. The air is coming out but its cold. Every once in while it works but mostly not. My guess is thermostat? or water pump? Any ideas? or if anyone has a link to give me that would be nice. Thankss |

Odds are a thermostat - but make sure the radiators' full first. if it's low - it doesn't circulate much coolant through the heater core. |

change your thermostat heres how: 1 Open the hood and locate the vehicle's radiator. 2 Remove the vehicle's radiator cap and use a radiator pressure tester to check for leaks. 3 Drain out some of the engine coolant in the radiator so the coolant level is below the thermostat housing to prevent leaking when replacing the thermostat. 4 If necessary, remove the upper radiator hose. 5 Remove the thermostat housing bolts. source: http://www.automd.com/119/how-to-replace-a-thermostat/ |
