Woke up last night to my alarm going off. checked everything out and no problems or some one trying to break in. so my wife goes out this morning and the jeep wont start. Has anyone had the alarm go off due to a dead battery or the alarm kill the battery? it seem like everything works fine (lights turn on when i unlock it etc) the only thing i don't have is console lights when i open the door. just think it kinda of funny. going out to give it a jump start and see what happens

i've had no problems when i had my oem alarm other than it didn't even go off when i was robbed lol. it could be your battery has power but just not enough to start the jeep. when my battery wouldn't start my jeep anymore it still was able to power the lights and radio. i got it jumpstarted and took it to advance auto parts to have it read. it was only reading 260 out of 600 if i remember correct and bought a new battery for 100 bucks!

well the battery went dead, boosted it and now it runs fine. not sure what killed the battery but it was :dead:. i thought all the lights timed out even if they were left on??
