My '05 2.4 6 spreed export daily driver came stock with 4.11s. As you all know 2.4 was not the best option as far as KJ engines are concerned. But this is what I have to work with and changing it is not an option. I was thinking that maybe changing the rack & pinion to 4,56 would make things better... I know it's going to be a compromise, power vs top speed and I'm looking for some guidance/feedback. Is it a good idea to begin with? Has any one here done that already? Oh! I'm also planning on having some 245/75/16son n a couple of weeks.(currently running on 255/65/16s) __________________ |

Not sure you can find 4.56 gears for the Dana 30a. If you swith to JBA steel dif then you could. |

Why do you say that? Will something like this http://www.wildhorses4x4.com/product/da ... ons/Dana30 not fit my front diff? |

No, the KJ's have a DANA 30A front housing and the ring and pinion is a different thickness then the dana 30. |
