 Post subject: skid plate zert damage?

Location: Highlands Ranch, Colorado
I want to change out my manual transmission fluid tomorrow. Does it damage the existing zerts that i put in with the mopar skids if I were to remove a skid for easier access, or does it simply bolt right back in without stripping or other issues?
