Parking in the driveway after work I notice a fairly steady stream of clear liquid dropping down from the engine bay on the passenger side. Closer inspection shows that it's leaking from a short (3-4") tube that comes out of the firewall on the passenger side. I'm guessing its somehow related to the A/C system but I didn't run that today. Anyone have any idea what it might be. I'll try to get a picture posted tomorrow when I have more light outside.

What a way to start the weekend. :banghead:

That is the AC condensate drain

just because you didn't hit the switch - does not mean the AC is not on.

AC runs when the defrost is on - or the lower vent

Sorry sorry sorry...guess I freaked out a little bit. I've never had a vehicle as reliable as this Liberty has been (Guess I keep waiting for something big to go wrong). Jumped the gun on posting the question.

Further research confirmed that it just an A/C drain hose.

All you other noobs need not freak out if this happens to you.

Thanks for the quick response ATXKJ!!! This is why I love this board over all others.
