Good evening all, I am getting rid of the factory steels and Wrangler ST's this weekend. I found some stock alloy's and will be getting Firestone Destination AT's 245/70/16's all around. I am also getting an alignment done.

Question, what sort of general PM should I have them do while they have the wheels off and can get to everything. Tighten anything, lube anything, wiggle anything, spray any bushings on a regular basis? etc.

I am having it done at the local Firestone shop and I am getting the lifetime rotation/balance/alignment. They will see me every 2 months since I drive 3k per month. I am just looking for your thoughts since they will be under there anyway and the whole ounce of prevention/pound of cure thing.

Is it worth the rotate/balance/alignment every 6k? I have read on here that some align every 3k? or should I just set my own PM schedule and stick to it if it needs it or not?

2007 with 51k, 90% interstate driving in all weather conditions. Thank you for your thoughts.

I align mine every 3k when I do my oil changes, then again I work at Firestone so I get paid to do my own alignment so why not.Really though at least once a year is best for having the alignemnt checked but with that lifetime alignment why not take advantage of it and do it more often,it will cathc worn out ball joints and tie rod ends before they become a major issue.I would balance/rotate the tires every oil change and make sure you get a matching spare and do a 5 tire rotation.
