my passenger side airbag light has been on when there is no weight on the seat. when you sit on it...it turns off.

anyone know if there is a sensor or something that may need replacing?

that's interesting, it just started turning on when there is nothing on the seat. It has never done that before.

Incorrect. The passenger airbag light should only be on when light weight items (backpack, breifcase, etc) or children are in the seat. When no weight is present, the light should be off. IIRC, the light should be on when 5 to 50 lbs is detected in the seat.

Airbag disabled when no one is sitting in the seat? Don't think it should be a big concern, safety or otherwise.
