Hello All
I got a transmission problem with my '02 Liberty with 45RFE auto transmission. :banghead:
When I drove the car in the morning. As I stop to wait traffic light, I can feel the vibration from transmission. Looks like the clutch was not release. If I didn't release the brake let car move a little while, the engine would be shut down. But the issue was gone after the temperature warm to working temperature. This issue was happened after doing fast learning of transmission. And why I do the fast learning because the code P0700. Please giving some idea to solve this problem.

The CRD's have a 545RFE transmission and some have this problem

Most of the time it's curred by replacing the filters and fluid in the transmission. There's a drain back valve on the screw on filter and they tend to fail.

If you've already serviced your filter it could just be low on fluid :JEEPIN:

Thank You for this thread, I have the same problem on mine but thought it was cold fluid or a jeep thing. I'm about to replace the filters and put new fluid, I was told here 6qts is all I need.

6 qts is not all you need, just where to start before checking as you add fluid back in...last thing you want to do is over fill it.
