Well not quite but we had to say goodbye to the liberty this weekend, the transmission went out in it at 187,000 or so miles. We did however replace it with another jeep but a commander instead, 3 kids fit better in it. Improvements are expected for it as well.

Well at least youre keeping with the jeep family. Oh and nobody can blame you for upgrading for more room, I too have wanted to get a larger vehicle for when the wife and I have kids. The KJ is working great for now and will be fine for the first few years with kids (Im sure I could make it last alot longer, but I wont) but Im looking at getting a 4 door wrangler for more room once they reach a certain age or we start having to think about adding more cargo features to the jeep.

That's the plan with this, keep it for 3-4 years then get a JK Unlimited.
