So the bottom line is this.....low speed, stop and go traffic......slight popping noise in front passenger end. Sounds like it may be something with my CV. Once above 30 the slight noise goes away. Any ideas?

When my CV/Intermediate shaft started to go it was at lower speeds like 15 to 35 or 40. I knew what it was from the sound and pulled it right away. That's where I would start.

Very similar noise to springs when they are new. Bad news I am down in KY til tomorrow. Hope I can make the trip without dying.

is it a sort of snapping click?

if so.. very well may have nothing at all to do with your cv's or the intermediate or the front diff

mine acquired a singular click that was occurring roughly once per rotation of the tire and since there's nothing in the front drive train wise at the moment and it still does it so.. it's either brake hardware or the hubs
