my 05 Limited is lifted with the OME HD setup using the MOAB rims and 245/75/16 MT/R's off a Rubicon TJ. I am still running the 3.73 gears and I am wondering if going to 4.10's will give me more towing power especially at highway speeds on inclines? I am going to replace the tires with something in a load range C, probably in the AT family that is more street friendly but I am also thinking it might be gears time. What say you?

btw: I am towing a Hybrid Travel Trailer that weights about 2700 lbs.

Yes it would help a lot. Even with 245-75s it will give you more power, well not more power but it will be more usable power where you need it towing a trailer

Thanks guys! I have a new set with Mok for the front, just need to find somebody to install them along with rears.

I would also swap to a P-rated tire to save weight. I’m running the 245/70/17’s in a P-rated Firestone Destination A/T and it’s super light and does great off-road while riding like a Cadillac on the highway.
