I do some long distance road-tripping and through in wheeling in the mountains, Moab, etc. I love having a vehicle (2006 CRD with aftermarket lift, winch, rock rails, etc.)) that is capable both on and off-road. One of the things I would like to improve is the comfort level while driving and I'm thinking some plush seats would make all the difference in the world. I'm thinking something out of a Cadillac or similar luxury car, but I'm hoping that someone could suggest some seats that I could find in a salvage yard from a luxury car that would require little or no modification if possible, and also have the seatbelts still work. Stick with Mopar/Dodge/Chrysler perhaps, or maybe some Caddy CTS seats? Thanks for the insight! |

There is only one choice................. http://www.corbeau.com/ The only place that makes aftermarket seat tracks for the KJ,and yes they to will require mods to make the seat belts work. Can't really use the OEM seat tracks as they are rivited/welded to the seat on the inboard side. You can make anything work but it will require alot of modifications. |

Somebody did a set of second row seats out of a minivan a while back, it required drilling the rivets and bolting the new seats to the old rails I think. I can't remember the kind of van... There was a thread maybe two months ago. |

I'd check with a good auto upolstery shop and see if they can rebuild them to your liking. |
