Would you mind checking your 02-07 kj and see if there is rubber trim that goes at the top of the front windshield (on the outside), or is it just the glass against body with no rubber trim at the top?
I had my '06 front windshield replaced a week ago and just noticed it. I am not sure if they just didn't put that trim in, or if there is none. It looks kind of bare at the top. Thanks in advance...

Some came with it and some didn't, most replacement windshields seem to get the rubber trim.

My 04 Limited has no Rubber factory window, and My buddies 03 Limited does have the strip Factory window.

I'm on my fifth or sixth windshield, I'm not sure if I have it on my current one, but I have had it in the past.

They stopped using that rubber trim at the end of '03 on KJ's.

My 05 has it, but it's had the windshield replaced.

When I had the windshield replaced - the installer asked about the rubber trim -
apparently it's on the order list if they need it - without details about when it was included.

When our windshield was replaced it had one installed at no cost.
Something the auto glass shops do automatically here.
