I went to my sons football practice the other day. I had no problems. After practice I tried to start the Liberty and the battery was completely dead. So I hooked jumpers to my Parents Yukon and after a couple of minutes it started. As soon as I let go of the throttle itwould stall. After a couple more start and stalls I noticed that the negative battery cable was loose. It would not run unless I held the throttle at 1000 or so RPMs. I limped it home keeping it above 1000 RPM and put it on a battery charger. After a cable repair and some charging it would just make a clicking noise under the drivers side floor. It also would make some sounds throught the stereo after I turned the key off??? I assume the clicking was the starter. So I just let it set and drove my Stroker. Fast forward to today. I go out and hit the key and it starts right up??? I turn it off and on again. Then the idle dropped and stalled. Then it was hit or miss. It may idle or stall when I let the the throttle go. But it will start right up after. Any ideas? Thanks, |
