Anyone on here ever seen a Jurassic Park-type paintjob on their truck? I was thinking if I get a beater or project truck, that Id either custom paint it like that, or get it done. It would look cool commin out of the woods and make peoples heads turn and be like wow wtf?! jurassic park vehicle!?

Never seen it done. Would be kinda gaudy but would turn heads. All that matters is if you like it. Go for it!

I think that paint job would actually look good on a KJ. I'm crazy though. :D

"To each, his/her own."

Definitely not my cup o tea.

If it is what you want, study it for a couple weeks and decide. Why not olive drab with a big star on the front doors? How about like the Mystery Machine (Scooby Doo)?

A Liberty could be cool done like the Wrangler Willys Edition that Jeep sold for a little while. It's not really all that extreme, but it would look nice. For an older vehicle though, I always think camo/ olive drab paint is kinda fun.

in the next few years, i'm doing a YJ "Project Mercenary"(91-94). After it's all said and done (lifted to the sky, supercharged 4.0L w/35's on Cragar soft 8's), i'll put the finishing touches on it w/an olive drab green paint job, w/the military stars on the doors, hood and tailgate w/ "MERCENARY" on each side of the hood (where the TJ's have "rubicon"). So NO STEALING my project guys!

If that's what you wanna do w/it, go for it! it's always nice to see something unique anywhere you go!

If you lived out in the desert states, I'd say go for a Desert camo paint job. With the new military uniforms coming out, try those patterns. I wonder if the digital pattern will work on vehicles. Look ugly though.

Funny how a new uniform creates issues. I remember when fatigues were being dropped for the BDU's (camo uniforms) and people hated the BDU's. They liked the fatigues because they were more comfortable.

Get a paint job like Frontier Airlines.

There Was one for sale on Ebay a while back in olive drab w/ the stars on the doors top of hood and vehicle #'s on the sides of hood. Didn't look too bad. Needed a lift and some decent tires though.
