I see that there is another thread going with an emission system question but I am having a different problem. Back in December I got the P0442 (emission leak-small). I changed out the cracked hoses, cleared the codes, and everything was fine. Until a few weeks ago when I got a P0441 (problem with the emissions purge valve). I have sinced replaced the purge valve unit in the engine compartment. That was about 500 miles ago and the code has not cleared. Do you guys have any ideas about this? Seems as though the only thing left to replace would be the evap canister at the fuel tank. The emissions system on this Jeep has been driving me nuts for the last few months. Thanks, Joe |
