I have a 6 speed tranny, i got home from work today and my wife had taken the jeep out today, and now I have to fix it. The shifter is hanging down to the left and when I shift it into 2nd gear it hits the center console, I already needed to have the syncro ( some part in the tranny that prevents me from shifting from first to second with out grinding ) So is this a rebuild ? if it is can you guys help me with this question ? ... Can I beef up the transmission, make it stronger, if so what parts should I use ? Thanks guys

got the lib fixed it ended up being the bushing between the shifter and the tranny shifter mount, so i got it fixed, came with new shifter and boot and everything, and I got the tranny flushed again and added the mopar stuff this time instead of the royal purple stuff, cost me $374.00

Yep, makes sense if you are OK with sleeping on the couch & eating TV dinners the rest of your life.
