We've been so happy with our 05 Liberty CRD that we just purchased an 06 Chrysler 300C AWD. It was only a few years back when I never thought I'd see a Chrysler in the garage - let alone two Chrysler products. Like the Liberty CRD (with all its discounts back in September 05), the 300 was a no-brainer. Totally refined, Mercedes e-class underpinnings, great built quality, and a price that didn't even come close to anything else. We've generally always had a BMW for our main car, so this is quite a change. Some of our more status-oriented friends think we're insane - until we let them drive the 300. Then they get it!

Anyway, just sharing the story. See, a great experience with the CRD brought us back for another DC product!

I glad the crd has been good for you. Alot of people has been having troubles out of it. I figured that was normal for a change that big in its first year. They seem to be minor problems though, just annoying.

Very Coincidentally we are looking at a Pacifica or a Magnum, Wife wants a Pacifica, I want a Magnum. I guess if we get the Pacifica, I can get the 4 door diesel Wrangler when it comes out. That would make us an all DC Family, never thought I would see the day. My family has had a Chrysler Minivan, K car and a Dakota, and every time we said that we would never own another Chrysler, so we don't for a decade or so, then we try them again. This is the first time that I am considering going all Chrysler in the Garage. All thanks to the CRD, Its the reason I looked at the Liberty in the first place.

The first chrysler(Or amc I should say) we bought I was 5 back in 1994. A grand cherokee, weve never had a problem other than water pump, fuel pump, things like that. My brother got a jeep cherokee in 1999 and I always wanted a yellow rubicon. Some how I ended up with my libby and im sure glad I did!

Jeepjeepster, If you were 5 back in 1994 that would make you about 12 years old!

Is this right?

I was 19 in 1994. I was 16 when I got my first car (67 Dodge Dart).

Some of us have been here the whole time. My first car was a 1970 Plymouth Road Runner w/a 383 big block! That was a the ripe age of 16 in 1978.

the current stable consists of;

2003 Liberty Freedom
2000 Wrangler Sport
1999 Neon (wife's commuter)
1992 Ramcharger (2wd)
1991 1/2 ton Ram P/U (4wd)
1978 Aspen Sport Wagon
1972 Duster (Hemi Orange)
1970 340 Dart (Plum Crazy Purple)

darn I'm getting old....

sorry,
yes you're right.
I did forget to add that.

Still, it must be nice to have nice new Jeep at that age.
I was 28 before I could even think of getting anything newer than the 1980's. Now my wife and I have the two Jeeps, but we just manage to keep up whith payments.
