Other than the stealership can anyone tell me where I can find the gauge cluster lights?? One is out on the wifes KJ and I found a great write up on how to replace them....seems easier than I would have thought!! Advance Auto didn't list the bulb. On a related note, they didn't list the bulb for the shifter light (which the wife tells me was out for a while....I just drove her KJ at night for the first time in a while and noticed that it was out!), but from the wattage and voltage printed on the bulb we found a match.

Anyways, while I have the thing apart I'd like to do all 9 bulbs but I don't want to pay stealership pricing. I can't find what bulb number/size is required...any help?? Thanx!

he's some pictures for you... extremely easy to change them.

1. pop out the 4 plugs in the handles beside the windshield.
2. take out the screws behind those handles (5.5 deep socket or 7/32 deep socket)
3. remove those handles
4. pull up on the edge toward the back of the plastic piece that goes the length of the dash (right under the windshield)
5. that front edge pops straight up... then pull that entire piece toward the back of the jeep.. it will all come out
6. tilt the steering column up the entire way
7. put your hand under the steering column and pull down on the piece under it.. there are two clips, 1 on the upper left corner and 1 on the upper right corner.. the bottom is hinged so it'll swing down.
8. pop off the short plastic piece to the right of the steering wheel (just pull it.. 2 clips will pop out)
9. pop off the longer plastic piece to the left of the steering wheel (same as above)
10. remove 7 phillips screws that hold the plastic around the gauge cluster on (top one you might need a shallow 7mm socket)
11. tilt the steering column the entire way down and remove the plastic around gauge cluster.
12. remover the 4 phillips screws holding on the gauge cluster.
13. unplug the gauge cluster.
14. remove the 6 torx screws holding the gauge cluster to the clear plastic you see the gauges through.
15. remove the rest of the torx to get the 'mother board' apart from the plastic...
16. pop off the needles (be careful.. they seem brittle..) use a flat head screw driver and carefully work your way around till they pop off.

annnnnnd reverse that to put it together.

here are a bunch of pictures of mine

Thanx for the pics, they are helpful! I searched on here and nothing came up?? I did a google search and another great write-up came up (from a different KJ site....hope it's OK to post the link) http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26151

I was surprised at how easy it seemed...I was worried that it was going to be a real project!
