Ok guys, contrary to some reports, these things ARE STILL AVAILABLE! Here's the lowdown... A company named "Cequent" has bought out all of the big hitch manufacturers: Hidden Hitch Draw Tite Reese and others. They went thru some part number changes during the process. The front mounted receiver for 1st generation Libertys is available under DRAW TITE # 65042. This item is discontuinued, so when they are gone... they're gone. As of Monday February 27th, they had 48 of them in their Goshen Indiana warehouse. Mine just came in and even included the plastic rivets for reinstalling the front bumper cover ! |

i got mine back in December.. if you do some investigating/researching.. you will find some good prices.. here is where i got mine.. i posted this back in December.. got it for 104+shipping total $130 sweet! getting the reese.. the price was wrong on the website so they honored it. The operator confirmed that the drawtite and reese are the same ones just different sticker. they dont have anymore drawtite so they substituted for the reese.. http://www.drawtite-hitches.com/front_m ... t_jeep.htm dunno if they going to fix the price or what but i called in and got the pricematch.. if you order this. make sure to give them the price and the whole web url as thats what i had to do to prove it was 104 on the website |

I got mine thru a local trailer / hitch dealer. The price was a little higher, but there was no shipping since it came in on his stock order. So it was a wash $ wise. |

I got my Reese front hitch from Hitchfinder.com in December. It also came with good instructions, hardware, and the plastic rivets needed to put the front of the KJ back together. Too cold here to install it still. Looks like I can just pry off the chrome ring if I decide I don't like it. This hitch has tow loops built in, nice! |
