Just put a magnaflo on my kk and like it. I did not want too loud and has a nice rumble.

Flowmaster super 44.
I can be heard from a long ways away!
No complaints about it at all.
Really rumbles at about 1900 RPM, perfect for when wheelin'!

pipe from autoparts store for a couple bucks. The stock muffler is long... really long compared to the super 44.

I'm going with a Dynomax cat back it's under 300 bucks. Have read many good reviews and heard some sound clips of it.

Right now I have just a Thrush muffler sounds good. But just like yours the rest is getting pretty crapped up.

From what I have read the Dynomax makes the most power with a good sound but not a ton of drone.

Under the mods section here on lost is a video and more info on this system.

I'm particularly fond of the Thrush Glasspack mufflers. Not too expensive and REALLY nice sound. I used to have one on my old '85 Camaro with a V6, and everyone thought I had a V8 in it just from the sound.

The nice thing about them is that they are close to the same length as the stock muffler, but are much narrower. So you save some space under the vehicle and they stay cooler.

In my opinion, the Dynomax is the best catback out there for the lowest price. They dyno most of their products on specific applications to show the improvement over stock. I bought the Dynomax for my Cherokee and will buy it for my KJ too. Great product for a great price.

Magnaflow good sound not overly priced and WAY BETTER than Flowmasters, no droning on the highway
