I'm not running a spare on the back of my Libby I like the look better without it and it's easier to use the back gate window without it there.

Other then a new rear bumper what's been done or some ideas on what to do to fill or cover up the spot in rear bumper for the spare tire?

For the holes in the gate I'm going to have a wrap done in same color to hide those.

Was thinking about making a panel for some reverse lights to go in bumper...

Years ago maybe 04-05 someone made a filler panel for there with lights in it, been long enough I don't remember who did it though. Be original and come up with something though

Great question! I've been asking myself the same question! Somewhere I've seen someone install a spare gas can there.

I was always bothered by the idea of mouting flammable liquids to the back of a truck.
Never liked the idea that a good hit and some broken glass could have the stuff flying into the cab or igniting.

Only fill the gas can when you're going to use it. Keep it empty otherwise.
