dam n that really does suck.
I had a similar issue but it had enough on it so that hibdons could take it off still.

btw who has purchased real lugnuts? I have heard mcgard is the best, and most expensive.

I'm going to replace my lug nuts with new chrome ones and put anti-seize on it all as soon as I can get what left of the old one off, I'm going to try my luck with this...

good luck with the holesaw...you're going to need it! That holesaw is not made for metal, not to mention how much of a PITA it is to use a holesaw without a pilot bit.

i wouldn't try to cut or drill that out. To me that's a last resort. Soak it in pb blaster for a few days and weld a nut to it, then hit it with a torque gun.

The hole saw will not work. Here is the deal, your are going to have to torch it off, or drill it out, if you are really patient then try a cold chisel and hammer. The torch is faster, if you know what your are doing, and I can't stress enough that you KNOW what your are doing. BTW is that a crack in your wheel I see on the one picture. :JEEPIN:

Give it a shot, you are going to have to replace the stud no matter how you get it off. :JEEPIN:

LOL OK I'm going to wait til the weekend to try this, worst case I have to torch the stud out and install a new one. best case I get lucky and it comes out nice and I can clean the thread on the existing stud...

PB is a waste of time. 50/50 acetone and ATF has been proven to be superior to anything you buy in stores... true story.

This happened to mine. I just bought a nut removal socket set and used that. The threads are reversed so when you start turning it to remove the bad nut it tightens on to the bad nut and removes it.

Mcgard is in a town ten mins away from my house. Been through the plant and everything. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great replacement for oem lugnuts. They truly make a great product and stand by it. I use them on my lib.

OK so here is the update
got it all dun, ended up shearing 2 more wheel nuts. The whole saw worked pretty well, I managed to save my studs but just to make sure i ran a tap on them to clean up the thread. I also put anti-seize and torqued them down with my torque wrench.
